Happy Hump Day!
In honor of this week’s release of The Saint, I wanted to highlight the next book of the series that I can’t wait to get my hands on!
Peep the cover, Yo:
Book: The King (The Original Sinners, #6) by Tiffany Reisz
Publisher: Harlequin MIRA
Expected Publication Date: November 24th, 2014
Check Out Books 5 & 6 Side-by-Side:
*dies* Can’t wait to get these on my shelf together :)
Cunning. Sex. Pure nerve. Only this unholy threesome can raise him to his rightful place as a rule of Manhattan’s king kingdom.
Bouncing from bed to bed on the Upper East Side, Kingsley Edge is brilliant, beautiful and utterly debauched. No carnal act of chemical compound can relieve his self-destructive heartache—only Søren, the one person he loves without limit or regret. A man he can never have, but in whose hands Kingsley is reborn to attain even greater heights of sin.
Kingsley’s plan to open the ultimate BDSM club—a dungeon playground for New York’s A-list—becomes his obsession. His expertise in domination can’t subdue the one man who wants to stop him. The enigmatic Reverend Fuller won’t rest until King’s dream is destroyed, and so the battle lines are set; it’s one man’s sacred mission against another’s…
Why I’m Waiting…
1.) It’s about my all-time favorite Frenchman, Kingsley Mutha Effin’ Edge.
Am I excited?
2.) I need more Søren & Kingsley “quality time”.
Am I excited?
3.) I can’t wait to get the scoop about all of the wonderfully depraved things that Kingsley was up to in his younger days.
AM I EXCITED?
But in all seriousness, can I be real with you for a second?
I love Kingsley’s character so freaking much. Up until I read The Saint last month (where Søren’s character pulled on my heartstrings), King was my favorite character in Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinner series. (Now it’s almost a head-to-head race with Søren.) I love his sharp tongue, his dirty jokes, and his loyalty that he has to those he loves. My heart broke for Kingsley in The Prince (book #3), and when I heard that book #6 would be primarily about him:
To say I was elated would be an understatement. I’m quite certain I burst a blood vessel or two squeeing in delight.
So yes, I will wait.
*Cue Mumford & Sons*
Is it November yet?
