**Blurb contains spoilers if you haven’t read Elements of Chemistry: ATTRACTION**
Four days left.
Private beach (…and boat).
Not so invisible girl.
And maybe less of a jerk-faced bully than originally thought.
What’s the worst (or the best) that could happen?
Kaitlyn is finding life outside of the science cabinet of obscurity to be quite illuminating …and so are her pants.
When things heat up between Kaitlyn Parker and Martin—previously known as the jerk-faced bully—Sandeke, she places her trust in the one person she never thought capable of earning it, let alone keeping it safe. Fortunately or unfortunately for Kaitlyn, where she gives her trust she can’t help but also give her heart.
But how will the world beyond the sanctuary of their newfound connection react to their relationship? Soon senators, chinless billionaires, and elements beyond Martin and Kaitlyn’s control want to weigh in on the young couple’s future.
Navigating the chaotic inferno of new love might be more than Kaitlyn bargained for, and much, much more than her trust—or her heart—can handle.
Ahhhhh! Yes, I definitely let out a scream when I finished this second installment of Elements of Chemistry. Heat ends with another cliffhanger, which is totally fitting for the situation, but it has had me DYING for the final part. Luckily the wait is almost over! If you haven’t read part 1, Attraction, yet stop here and check out my review and snatch it up for only $.99 right now! <3
In this installment, Martin and Kaitlyn continue their week in paradise and grow much closer. Things definitely get real, especially when their lives outside of their perfect week start to intrude on their developing relationship. There’s a more serious tone in some ways while they try to navigate how they fit together and if they can make it work. Yet, the humor and wit is still completely on point and so very addicting.
“Are you always like this?” he asked, his eyes narrowing in mock suspicion.
“Like what?” I pretended to be confused. “Amazing?”
“Yeah…” he nodded, finally smiling. “Amazing.”
Everything gets more intense between Martin and Kaitlyn in Heat. It is very aptly named because things get very steamy for the couple and I enjoyed every moment of it! Not only do they have chemistry with their banter, but physically as well.
“…I meant it when I said that all I can think about is you.” He bit my ear, like he couldn’t be close without tasting me, and added, “Honestly, you should be a little scared. I want you in so many ways, and I can’t stop thinking about it.”
This is proving to be my favorite serial I’ve read to date and I’m so excited to see how everything ends up!
